Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $23/hr. (Starting)
Schedule: First Shift, 10-hour days (Mon-Thurs), Friday and Saturday as needed.
· High School Diploma or GED required; Trade School diploma or certificate preferred
· 3–5 years of experience inspecting electrical equipment
· Solid understanding of basic electrical principles and relevant mechanical experience
· Able to read and interpret specification sheets, wiring diagrams, schematics, three-line drawings, wiring lists, and part drawings
· Familiar with industry codes and standards
· Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
· Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills
· Committed to working safely and upholding high quality standards
· Perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections and testing on electrical equipment in line with established standards.
· Program and operate microprocessor-based relays, PLCs, HMIs, and more.
· Energize and test electrical products and other systems like service panels, HVAC, battery chargers, and UPS systems.
· Conduct equipment failure investigations and root cause analyses.
· Document and report non-conformities, discrepancies, and material shortages.
· Maintain test equipment and keep all quality control documentation up to date.
· Collaborate with teams across production, engineering, shipping, and fabrication to tackle quality issues head-on.
· Coordinate with customers and project managers for Factory Acceptance Testing.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to improve processes.
· Ensure your work area stays organized, safe, and clean.
· Safety-sensitive manufacturing or industrial environment, temperature controlled with occasional outside work
· PPE required when needed (hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety harnesses, respirators)
· May work at heights (up to 30 feet) and must be comfortable on ladders and scaffolding
· Regularly stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and use hand/power tools for extended periods.
