Job description:
Our Client in the Webster area is seeking 3 dedicated and skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our dynamic Aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sewing machines, ensuring the efficient production of Aerospace garments. Your expertise in High quality garment construction and sewing will be essential in meeting production targets while adhering to safety and quality standards. Duties
Operate sewing machines and other related equipment to produce Aerospace garments according to specifications.
Monitor machine performance, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines efficiently.
Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Document production output and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures.
Experience:
Proven experience in High quality garment construction and sewing, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with Straight Stitch (single and double needle), Walking Foot, Bartack, Buttonhole and 3 Thread Rolled Hem Serger.
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, contributing to an understanding of production workflows.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality issues quickly.
Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members.

-MUST be able to complete a U.S. Government background Investigation.
-2-3 years of industrial sewing experience
Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Must be open to overtime)
Pay Rate: $23 - $26/Hour
