The Pasadena branch of Meador Staffing has partnered with a Valet Trash Removal company to add a Remote HR Compliance Support employee to their team. This is a growing company, and the position is a long term, temp to hire role.
**RESPONSIBILITIES: **
Respond to and manage all incoming HR inquiries via the HR inbox.
Escalate full-time employee matters as appropriate and resolve part-time employee issues independently.
Research and resolve payroll and benefit-related issues.
Manage 401(k) processes including onboarding, eligibility tracking, loan requests, withdrawals, and monthly compliance reporting.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state labor laws, especially sick leave, pay transparency, and benefits eligibility.
Respond to litigation and legal requests related to Workers' Compensation claims.
Handle WC claims from intake to resolution, including all documentation, communication, and follow-up.
Ensure leadership is informed of serious issues while independently managing standard claims.
Learn and utilize various HR systems and platforms with minimal direction.
Manage incoming HR mail, file documents, complete forms, and maintain digital records efficiently.
Be creative and flexible; adaptable to shifting priorities and multi-tasking Additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
3–5 years of HR generalist or compliance experience, preferably in a multi-state environment.
Working knowledge of Workers' Compensation claims management and 401(k) plan administration.
Strong research skills and familiarity with resources for employment law (e.g., SHRM, state labor sites).Proficient in HRIS systems, document management, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Highly organized, proactive communicator who keeps leadership informed.
Able to exercise discretion, sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently
SCHEDULE:
Mon- Fri 9:00am - 5:30pm
PAY: $25/hour
LOCATION: 100% Remote
